Make your own matcha bowl
Welcome to Ochaya’s hand-building ceramic workshop! A focused session where you will shape your own matcha bowl from raw clay - considering weight, curve, balance, and how the bowl sits in your hands during everyday use. This workshop is not about decoration for display. It is about creating a functional object, made with intention and context. The session is guided by ceramic artist Agnes (@keramikk_ahs), who works specifically with matcha bowls and an exquisite range of handcrafted tableware, from cups to plates, where every piece is truly one-of-a-kind. After the workshop, your piece will be carefully dried, glazed, and fired. You will receive a finished, food-safe ceramic matcha bowl, ready to use at home.

Workshop type: 2.5-hour hand-building ceramic workshop Sessions: 1. Sunday, Oct 11th (14:30 - 17:00) 2. Sunday, Nov 22th (14:30 - 17:00) 3. Sunday, Dec 13th (14:30 - 17:00) Location: TeaOlogy Posthallen - Prinsens gate 10 C, 0153 Oslo, Norway Focus: Making one ceramic matcha bowl Instructor: Agnes Group size: Limited seats (12 participants) PRICING: WORKSHOP FEE: 820 NOK Registration will close once all slots are filled. Participation & Ticket Policy: Since your spot will be secured and materials are prepared specifically for you, please note that the registration fee is non-refundable. After the session, your bowl will be left to dry, then glazed and fired. This process takes several weeks. When your bowl is ready, you will be notified.
